Vision Control Artists
Since his first release back in 2002 Nick has shown his talents by writing, co-producing & engineering a wide variety of music for some of the UKs largest dance music labels and has gained support from some of the industries biggest players. Since his introduction to the scene Nick has worked with some of the biggest names in hard dance, including Solarstone, Ian Betts, Paul Kershaw, Nick Sentience, Phil Reynolds, James Lawson, Rob Tissera, Nick Rafferty and many more, while recording for labels including Solaris, Deepblue, Six:Thirty, Nukleuz, Tidy, Y2K & Riot! To name but a few. Solo tracks, remixes and co-produced tracks have been supported by DJs across the board, including Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Christopher Lawrence, John Askew, Above & Beyond, Simon Patterson, Ian Betts, DJ Shah, BK, Nick Sentience, Lisa Lashes and many more from both the trance and hard dance scene. This year Nick is concertrating more on trance production and has just taken the post of monthly resident on the Vision Control Session radio show on Slinky.fm. Nicks discography has grown considerably overtime, pseudonyms include 'The Coalition', 'NR2', 'Rowland & Wright', 'Phatt Bloke & Slim' & 'PBS' and more recently 'Research & Development'. Nick Sentience has managed to achieve a massive amount in his ten years as a leading dance DJ and producer. He has been responsible for some of the international club scene’s most devastating floor fillers, and has worked alongside the world’s top record labels and received support from the majority of Top 100 Dj’s. He has won and been nominated for multiple awards and toured the world many times playing close to 1000 gigs. Nick is currently a resident on Clubbing giant Slinky’s global radio Station Slinky.fm Nick has released 2 highly acclaimed Artist albums and is hard at work in the studio finishing his 3rd which is being released July 09.

Identikal was created originally of Dan Bartholomew and Lee Walls, together they were pioneering a new sound of hard trance back in 2005, 2 years saw them reach events such as, Wildchild, Frantic, Raindance and Peach, and following their local sucess dj’ing they worked together on 2 tracks “Solaris” & “Elektrizm” both featured on album compilations such as Tidy Weekender 12 Mixed by Kym Ayres and Technikal, and Nukleuz’s Album “Nu Religion” mixed by frantics own James Condon, following this rise he was asked to do some remix work for Pierre Pienaar (Damage Control) and Technikal & Carl Nicholson (System Shock). With Dan moving on to become a single trance artist under the name Identikal, He has made waves through the club scene, this was seeing him play prestigious events such as, Hardsouth, Frantic 12 @ legendary club “Koko” B2b with Carl Nicholson, Then going on to guestmix on well known radio shows like, Happy Nation, DI.FM, and the massive London based Kiss FM, With Dan rising fast into the scene his level of his earlier production has been picked out and supported by the scenes finest dj’s/producers, and well supported by the likes of K90, Bk, Ian Betts, Judge Jules, Scot Project, Christopher Lawrence, and Kiss FM, With Dan remixing for Technikal & Carl Nicholson he went on to become an instant hit at tidy weekender 12, With this support he has been signed to Uk’s finest dance label such as... Nukleuz (Trance Anthems 2009 / Miami Trance 2009), Traffic, Addition Digital, and recent signing to K90’s Dataless Recordings, these labels has allowed him to work with some of the best producers like, Vandall, Mda and Spherical, Greg Brookman, and had his worked remixed by the likes of Thr3shold and Detune, ( A state of trance / Flashover ). Seeing his experience and knowledge grow in the scene he has now gone on to setting up Vision Control Digital, and through this it has led him to become official partners in the Annual Trance Awards & the Hard dance awards hosted by TID & BBC Radio 1. Building up the label in the beginning he done this with the renowned Phil Reynolds (Frantic) and both become residents of the Vision Control Room @ Hardsouth in Brighton, this is seen them play alongside the best in up n coming talent in trance like Liam Melly, Ben Nicky, Trevor McLachlan, Ben Alonzi. With big releases due from Ali Wilson, Thomas Shore, Ross Anderson, Indecent Noise, Steve Allen, Adriz. He has been working round the clock to gain support from Tiesto, Adam White, Tom Colontonio, Daniel Kandi, Nick Rowland, Matt Darey, This has made this young label is a force to reckon with in the future... Going on from this, be sure to catch Identikal’s show every 2nd Friday of the month on www.slinky.fm on the Vision control Sessions, And with 2009 taking off for him in a big way this sees him playing Homegrown (Ireland) and booked in august for the Apex Festival (Canada), so expect more globetrotting from this young prodigy...
